Our Vision

Save the Brickworks has provided numerous constructive suggestions towards the original promise – by the owners – of the adaptive reuse of key heritage buildings, enabling them to come to life. This has included a proposal for a major, long term tenant to make the Brickworks an artistic hub, and a vision for the Brick Pressing Shed, shown below and distributed to the owner, community and other stakeholders.

The heart of the Brickworks

Our vision is that the restored Brick Pressing Shed and Engine House form the heart of the Hoffman Brickworks precinct.

We imagine lofty spaces showcasing the industrial history of the Brickworks. We imagine creativity and community uses sitting alongside meaningful historic interpretation. We imagine a thriving hub, an activated space filled with people, colour and life.
